There are a few tracks that run around Minos. The majority of these trains are above ground, but there are few "subway" like tracks that run beneath the ground in the tunnel systems. For the vast majority of the working-class, the trains are the only way they can get to work. Cars are expensive and in short-supply.
The trains are labeled with letters, and there are certain trains that run solely through a single country and then there are other "international" public trains.
For the most part the trains are well-kept and are relatively clean, but there are a few areas and tracks in the sketchier parts of Minos that are known for their crime, making those trains less desirable.
